I managed day-to-day operations for numerous research studies, culminating in service as lead coordinator for USC's participation in The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) project of the NCI. I designed relational databases and systematized data management processes for complex data sets. I led study teams with emphasis on agile and fair task distribution.

I worked with a superbly organized team of instructors and teaching assistants to implement a distance learning English language program. During the five years I worked at Burbank Adult School, I enjoyed teaching classes and tutoring students from a diversity of national origins and language backgrounds.

Santa Monica, CA

My work as the primary technician running the HIV and Hepatitis EIA bench entailed completing roughly 20 enzyme immunoassays per shift for presence of antibodies and antigens for HIV and Hepatitis in peripheral blood and CSF. I also ran a panel of assays for a specific set of tumor markers. The work was extremely repetitive so to pass the time I enjoyed.
