Senior Program Officer, Fulbright Teacher Exchanges
CurrentIn cooperation with the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA), oversee the design and implementation of the Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms program, an annual 12-month professional development program for K-12 teachers around the United States. Responsibilities include: • Managing three full-time direct reports to implement the annual program components: a graduate-level online course on Teaching and Leading for Global Education, a DC-based Global Education Symposium, and a series of short-term International Field Experiences in countries around the world.• Overseeing the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process for cohorts of up to 80 participants per year. • Managing subawards, contracts, and consulting agreements with program partners.• Drafting program reports and evaluations and contributing to grant proposal development. • Managing program budgets, including analyzing projections vs actuals, forecasting, and recasting.
