I create and maintain price grids while communicating with vendors and brand managers to ensure pricing is correct. This was a temporary position to assist companies in their search for new employees by providing up-to-date information of potential candidates. To do this, I used contemporary resumes and public profiles to update candidate records in Find Great People's database, Bullhorn. I also utilized LinkedIn and ZoomInfo to seek out optimal candidates to fill client positions, thus creating a match between great people and the job opportunities that are open to them. I created reports summarizing potential company clients that were interested in working with Find Great People. A strong attention to detail was required for this role, as well as keeping the overall picture in mind.

My team and I modeled chronic Hepatitis B in both the initial and final stages of infection by creating a system of differential equations that represented the interactions between the virus and the immune system. I used MATLAB to run simulations and collaborated with three other undergraduate researchers to analyze the model. This increased efficiency of lab workers by providing one model on which to run future experiments, as opposed to the two previous models of initial and final stages of infection. Every week, I presented my research to the other researchers on the college campus and received feedback on both the model and my presentation skills. My team and I also gave a talk at the 2019 MAA math conference in Cincinnati, OH.

I worked for 36 hours a week as a ride operator at Dollywood. In this role, I rotated through four different positions: loading people onto the ride, unloading people off the ride, keeping watch over the ride itself through monitor screens, and recording the ride's throughput while also watching the ride participants. When loading and unloading, I was responsible for maintaining a safe but efficient speed and preventing excessive queuing. I also gave directions on how to adhere to ride safety and have an enjoyable ride. In the role of watching ride participants, I made sure that guests remained safe and that everything was operating smoothly. A large part of this job required gracious diffusion of multiple guest arguments about restrictions for the ride, including child height and parental presence. I was able to clearly and calmly provide information while standing firm on the ride's safety policies and procedures.
