Supported the Supply Chain Operations Team at St. Vincent's Health System. I supported process improvement initiatives that included the reorganization of more than 500 products in supply locations to increase efficiencies for staff, increase nurse satisfaction, and right size inventory. During my internship I expanded my analytical, process improvement, communication, and organizational skills. I expanded my analytical skills by gathering larger sets of data and created spreadsheets using information from the organizations MMIS or ERP system, as well as using new softwares. I was able to expand my communication skills by connecting with employees and other interns across all levels of experience as well as presenting on a national call with over 400 employees. I was able to work with Executive Directors, Chief Operating Officers, Chief Sourcing Officers, managers, frontline staff, and many other people. I collaborated on a project to create a brand new website to offer training resources for new and existing employees regarding Pharmacy Requisitioning as well another project regarding the standardization of over 20 job descriptions related to supply chain operations within the organization.

Auburn, Alabama Area

Participated in 10 sessions of Auburn's orientation for incoming freshman. I worked closely with the academic advisor to offer support and helpful information to over 100 student each session when it came to choosing a course of study, choosing classes to take, and eventually creating their schedule for the first semester of college. I also monitor the front desk of the office and conduct several tasks, those including checking students in for appointments, guiding students who wish to transfer in or out of the College of Business, organizing paperwork, answering phone calls, and conducting any projects needed by the advisors within the office while also working closely with other staff members in the College of Business.
