As Business Development Manager for Skanska’s Boston Civil Team, Anna worked to build the company’s market position by locating and tracking potential business opportunities and strategizing to secure assignments. She has been part of Skanska’s winning pursuit teams for both public and private work, including signature bridges, major highway upgrades, mass transit projects and work for private universities. In addition to her Business Development efforts, Anna also estimates and bids projects ranging from $5 million to over $600 million in HCSS. She performs buyouts for successful bids, negotiating subcontracts and material contracts.

Anna was responsible for the design, procurement and fabrication of structural steel on the Longfellow Bridge Rehabilitation Project. Anna spearheaded an effort to use a 3D scanner to capture steel plate geometry for fabrication of replacement steel. By eliminating the need to collect measurements by hand, this innovative approach created a more efficient workflow and a safer work site.

Anna performed hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to analyze storm events. She worked with outside legal teams to evaluate damage resulting from a major hurricane. Anna also performed field inspections and developed computer models to evaluate the structural integrity of dams and recommend means to address any deficiencies.
