Avanza Bank is Sweden's largest on-line broker. The company is the result of active operational development and structural change. The company, which is today called Avanza Bank, is the result of a number of different mergers of the companies Avanza, Aktiespar Fondkommission, HQ.SE Fondkommission and Inside.I started at Avanza in 1995 at position in Client Service team and helped the clients with everything except for the trades. In 1997 I change my position to the cash management team where we help the clients with deposits and withdrawals from the depot and liquid assets management. Then in 1999 I got my licence to start trading on the Stockholm Stock Exchange and there we were more like Sales trader than financial advisers since we were not allowed to give our clients advises. Later I realised that this wasn´t my thing so I help our Finance department during a few month and then in 2001 I started my position at Backoffice for Global Settlement. Handled settlement of deals and clearing of securities, typical deal 10 000 - 2 00 000 USD, ~ 100 deals/day. Some of the little more tricky market as Korea, Taiwan and Malaysia in the beginning and later more at the regular markets as Norway, Canada and US. In December 2003 I left for Maternity Leave for ten month and when I get back I had the same position included some of the pensions insurance.
