ZESM is an internation public-private collaboration, working towards transitioning the ocean going fleet to green fuels in a value chain perspective. I work as an assistant to the entire office, and have therefore become acquainted with much of the work related to the international green transition of the maritime within the EU and IMO.Primary tasks have been:- Practical support in the Secretariat such as taking minutes, planning participation in Global Clean Energy Action Forum and now COP27. - Research on how to measure and evaluate the mission KPI’s as well as development of the tender to hire the company to perform the measurements. - Support during the development of the Mission Action Plan, especially through proof reading and development of the communications plan, herunder LinkedIn posts.- Coordinating the travel program for both the Mission Director and the Vice Director of the DMA, as well as internally in the secretariat. - Speaking notes for the Vice Director for the Executive Committee meeting in ZESM.- Support with Power Points for presentations for conferences in Egypt, Greenland and more. _____________________________Studentermedhjælp i Kontoret for Klima og Grøn Omstilling. In my internship with Engineers Without Borders, I was in charge of developing a participatory methodology for a pilot project on assessing climate change and adaptation possibilities in ten hard-to-reach communities in Kenema, Sierra Leone. It was critical that the methodology could be… Show more In my internship with Engineers Without Borders, I was in charge of developing a participatory methodology for a pilot project on assessing climate change and adaptation possibilities in ten hard-to-reach communities in Kenema, Sierra Leone. Working with the local partner organization, SEND SL, I gained experience coordinating dialogue with stakeholders, such as local and national authorities, the regional WASH council, civil society, and NGO’s. It was critical that the methodology could be performed by the local partner, and the surveys that constituted the research, could be made understandable to people without any educational background. Both were therefore carefully developed to accommodate participatory methodology standards in development work, including mapping and rating in an iterative manner and the training program was carefully developed to ensure correct execution.
