I have long harboured my passion for making a positive impact on our environment. As an undergraduate, I studied Ocean Science and later, for my Master’s Degree, I focused on Management and Environmental Auditing. I have been an Environmental Engineer for Anfitrix, S.L. As such, I was responsible for comprehensive environmental monitoring and the implementation of surveillance strategies that guide our company’s remediation efforts. In this field, the realities of environmental problems hit us from all directions. However, my keen awareness to both intervention and prevention efforts through scientific research has lead to highly impactful projects. Additionally, I have pioneered numerous business aspects of our young company, ranging from basic administrative procedures to building out database programs and a website that guides clients through our research strategies and past findings. These developments have made a significant contribution to our efforts.Working as a Quality Supervisor for Jasun Envirocare, I was committed with high quality standards and showed a considerable attention to detail. I went far and beyond writing a manual on the proper use of one of the testing devices. I guided the company through the creation and maintenance of quality data records, to further achieve the quality certification for the process (BS EN 1822). At the moment I am working as a Work Coach at Wells Job Centre, delivering the government policy regarding to Universal Credit. This is a fascinating new role where all my people skills are put into service to liaise between society and government. With challenge in mind, I have recently undertaken specialised training within the DWP to deal with self employed claimants. It is a meaningful role that I am proud to develop.
