During my summer at Condado I was mainly a server. My responsibilities as a server were mainly about helping others. I had to greet customers, ensure they were taken care of while seated, and cleaning up when they exit. Some of the extra tasks included setting up for the day, closing for the day, and doing extra cleaning. The atmosphere was a we, not me, meaning we all had to contribute our own parts in order to get our jobs done efficiently.

The Ralph and Luci Schey Centre is the #1 sales center in America. There is a 25% acceptance rate into this very prestigious program. Following acceptance new hires and prospects attend 8 weeks of trainings and workshops for professional development purposes. Some of the trainings were over dinner etiquette, diversity and inclusion, and personal branding.Over the past 3 semesters, I have assisted on the Schey recruitment team. Through this position, I have encouraged students to interview for the organization as well as perform interviews.

I had the opportunity to travel abroad in Florence, Italy for a week and a half in December 2022. Following this trip I realized what an amazing time I had learning about another culture with some fellow students from Ohio University. As an ambassador I have a chance to share my travels and encourage more students at Ohio University to do so as well. Our team of ambassadors work together to share our experiences through different marketing strategies including tabling, speaking to classes, and making videos.

As Vice President of Recruitment it is my responsibility to plan and ensure informal and formal recruitment run smoothly. I am responsible for training 80 women on various topics regarding recruitment including rules, expectations, and conversational topics. I am also the liaison between my chapter and the Panhellenic association at Ohio University for anything recruitment related.

Informal recruitment included a few small events to meet new women. Formal recruitment was a two-weekend ordeal with many different rounds needing planned. We also had to plan work week - the recruitment training completed the week before the semester begins.
