Growing up, I always had a heart for service. I volunteered in the early childhood ministry at church for four years and went on several service trips out of the state and out of the country with my church. During these trips, I worked alongside my team to build homes, restore properties for those in need, and provide essential eyeglass fittings for community members of all ages. I was unsure how that would translate into a career until my Grandmother was in the hospital. Seeing the compassion and care she received inspired me to pursue a career in nursing and care for the people who need it the most. Currently, I am in my final semester at California Baptist University, where I am on track to earn my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in December 2024. My goal is to utilize my education and clinical experience to provide compassionate, patient-centered care. I am eager to join a team that values collaboration and continuous learning. As I transition into my professional career, I look forward to making a positive impact in the lives of patients and their families.
