Built on a belief that arts and culture can change lives, I have over 18 years’ experience designing strategies and raising money across the UK arts and cultural landscape. To date, I have committed my career to the Not-for-profit sector, where I have championed unlocking potential, taking risks, equality, activism and entrepreneurship, working with organisations such as Southbank Centre, London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA), the Bluecoat and Queen Mary University. Key achievements include:-Writing a successful bid to DCMS Cultural Recovery Fund for The Place to secure the organisation during the Covid-19 pandemic-The design and delivery of a transformational strategy for revenue funding from grants and trusts for Southbank Centre -Being a member of the campaign team at LAMDA that successfully secured a £2m gift-Successfully raising the remaining £4m necessary to complete the Bluecoat’s capital development during Liverpool's year as European Capital of Culture -Creating and leading a creative tenant strategy and achieving 90% occupancy of creative industries, artists and retailers in 6 months during very difficult economic circumstances -Successful international partnership development on behalf of Queen Mary University with agencies including the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, Vice Magazine and the Creators ProjectSpecialties: Business planning, income generation, internal & external communications, project management, bid and proposal writing, mentoring / nurturing creativity & innovation, team development & line management, strategic partnership development, events management.
