Vegoshi is a plant-based Asian restaurant concept, offering meals that are both healthy and tasty. Our first restaurant is located in the Kluuvi shopping mall in Helsinki city center.

• Mantra was the first company I co-founded. As a communications agency our work consisted of:
• Strategic consulting in communication, PR and reputation management
• Managing customer magazines and other projects
• Producing content in Finnish, Swedish and English

I wrote a monthly column for newspaper Vasabladet. My target was to entertain, provoke and give the readers new insights – in other words, never to be dull.

The company was small, but the customers were big: We produced turnkey customer magazines for companies such as UPM and ABB. I was in charge of both content production and project management, and learned the ropes of corporate communication. I also started producing content in Finnish and English, in addition to my native language Swedish.

I held a 40 hour course in written journalism every autumn. The course, which I planned independently, consisted of both theory and a lot of hands-on writing practice.

During my maternity leave, I freelanced for Hufvudstadsbladet, writing news articles, feature stories as well as columns.

• Being a radio and TV news reporter is the best way to learn a whole lot of things. This period laid the foundation for my ability to
• grasp complex issues and boil them down to three phrases
• work under constant time pressure with strict deadlines
• understand society, public debate and media logic
• interview and interact with all kinds of persons – from presidents to homeless people
