Grímsson Fellow (2025), Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson CentreArctic Circle Sep 2023 - PresentÍsafjörður, Vestfirdhir, IcelandSelected as part of the first cohort of the newly-founded Grímsson Fellowship for my project, 'Becoming Arctic.' The Fellowship was created by the Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson Centre in cooperation with the Arctic Circle Secretariat, UW Iceland, Háskóli Íslands, Háskólinn á Akureyri, Reykjavik University and the biotechnology company Kerecis. The aim of the Fellowship is to promote cooperation and knowledge as well as relations between international and Icelandic communities.I was chosen as one of ten Grímsson Fellows from a pool of 251 applications from around 60 countries. The Fellows are invited to stay for 2-6 weeks in the House of Grímur, where President Ólafur Ragnar Grímsson was born and his family lived. The house is in the historic town of Ísafjörður, the capital of the beautiful Westfjords region in Iceland.
