Experienced Higher Education leader with extensive knowledge and understanding across a broad range of HE policy and practice.A senior HE manager, I am committed to values-based leadership, using emotional intelligence to build effective teams and work collaboratively to deliver strategic and operational objectives.Specialties: Student casework (Academic Appeals, Complaints, Plagiarism and Academic Misconduct, Mitigating Circumstances, non-Academic Misconduct including sexual misconduct), institutional policy and process development, consumer protection and regulatory compliance, process improvement, continuous improvement, project management, presenting, coaching and mentoring, governance, stakeholder engagement and management. I am a Fellow of the Association of Higher Education Professionals (AHEP) and served as the AHEP Institutional Advocate for Canterbury Christ Church University from 2015 - 2019. I continue to coach and support colleagues in their applying to become a Fellow or Accredited Member of the AHEP. I am currently completing my MBA with Open University (triple accredited). In 2021, I became Secretary to the Academic Registrar’s Council (ARC) Student Casework Practitioner Group.I am passionate about the development of women leaders in Higher Education and have undertaken the Aurora programme with Advance HE.
