Serves the MultiCare Connected Care (MCC) President by ensuring that MCC operations are governed & executed effectively and in a continual alignment with the goals and objectives of MCC and organizational strategies. Provides business insight and functions as a liaison between multiple teams often driving initiatives to execute MCC’s strategic action plans that are aligned to organizational Strategies. This includes operationalizing a program management framework tracking mechanisms and infrastructure necessary to support and/or manage defined transformational and operational initiatives. The Director provides oversight of operational performance and reports outcomes and updates to executive level forums (i.e. Board and associated committees, Executive Councils) to enhance MCC’s ability to analyze value-based operational outcomes and develop meaningful initiatives consistent with the organizational mission and vision. Responsible for managing vendor and payor relationships, this includes contract negotiation and execution of services.Responsible for the Digital Health Ecosystem that supports the requirements of population health services and managing under risk contracts. Oversees the digital product portfolio that enables successful management of lives under risk. Works in a matrixed position with Information Services and Technologies to ensure the implementation of population health digital services into the operations of the organization. Directs and manages technology teams that build, implement, and sustain products in support of population health.

Managed the portfolio of products for population health (Medicare Shared Savings Program, Commercial, and Medicare Advantage), as well as the daily operations of the Clinically Integrated Network (CIN). This included communications management, relationship management, product application management. Often duties required discretion and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive and privileged information. Built and managed the implementation of the quality performance dashboard for the CIN and the product portfolio. Managed the digital portfolio for population health that included negotiating vendor contracts and annual subscription services, interoperability and data orchestration, as well as the strategy for enhancing the portfolio to meet growing business operational requirements.

Performed advanced support and analytical work in managing, monitoring, coordinating, facilitating, and tracking the population health program’s operational initiatives and activities. This included responsibilities in process improvement, departmental and administrative policies and procedures, and communication plan with the clinically integrated network (CIN) providers. Measured performance of outcomes to strategic initiatives and operational goals, this included the design, implementation, and execution of the operational dashboard for the CIN. Worked closely with executive leadership to communicate team decisions; resolve issues and workflow changes and prepare briefings as needed to support the successful performance of the associated programs. Managed digital vendor relationships and associated products to ensure data is managed appropriately and partners were executing on their contracts.

As a Business Data Analyst within Strategic Planning my responsibilities included aggregating analyzing, and reporting data and information used to support Strategy and Business Development activities for the Health System. Projects included growth opportunity support as needed, white paper research on potential markets, yearly budgetary environmental assessments, and working closely with leadership on reporting out health care industry activities and trends. I provided technical support for multiple software applications including working with both Advisory Board and Sg2 applications.

Contributed as the communication expert for EHR and IT systems maintenance, implementations and upgrades for over two and a half years. EHR project responsibilities include charter development and presentation, communication planning, development, and deployment, critiqued process flow through documentation ensuring a complete throughput. Key contact for Information Services incident response - on call for critical healthcare IT system outages; coordinate, document and report resolutions of issues occurring within IT systems immediately enabling the continuum of patient care. Implemented Change Management software. Prepare detailed technical reports for the healthcare community and Information Services personnel by reviewing and editing material for proper use of terminology, style, direction, content, grammar, punctuation and clarity. Coordinate research, planning and development of content for manuals and other technical material for health information systems and supporting business applications. Coached management in deciding needs of reporting and data functionality within department, work group, and/or organization using Baldrige and Lean methods. Create and facilitate the communication of health IT system changes with regards to IT to healthcare user population. Designed, developed, and marketed strategic plans that include goals and objectives for Information Services in healthcare IT; this is distributed to the organization and organizational board members for approval for capital funding. Ensured quality data to organizational leadership using our EHR, IT metrics, and SharePoint forms data.
