As Nordic Talent development consultant my role is to drive new initiatives in order to improve the way we support our people to develop. During the past year the most important project has been driving the implementation of our new global career, development and performance management approach for all our 7000+ people in the Nordics. Project includes both cultural change management and implementing a new process and tool (SAP SuccessFactors). Before the implementation phase I contributed to the design of this new approach as a member of our global design workstream.

As HR Business Consultant I was having the local responsibility for operational support for Tax and Law department in Finland (150+ employees). I supported the partners and managers in different people processes: resource planning, onboarding, legislative issues, rewards, people surveys, performance management, talent development. I also supported the leadership to drive more integrated organization on Nordic level and worked as an active member in the Nordic HRBC team to achieve our Nordic priorities.In addition to the local role I also held a second role as Nordic performance management process owner. One part of the role was to support the local HR teams by providing process and system support, reporting and communication. There was also a strong development focus to align the process better between all countries and business units, as well as building more focus on feedback and career conversations. I also facilitated learning programs and workshops on Finland, Nordic and EMEIA level (e.g. Delegation and Feedback, Coaching skills, Management essentials, Counselor workshop, New Senior program) and built a local programme for our counselors (= superiors with development focus).

As Learning & Development coordinator for Finland I was responsible together with the learning manager to identify the development needs in our organization, to plan the different activities and to organize local learning events in Finland. I was also managing our learning system and building the communication to promote new learning opportunities for selected target groups. I facilitated some programs myself and worked closely together with external facilitators to always ensure an implementation that fits our culture.Other key role was being the local process owner of our performance management and development process. My key achievements in this role was implementing regular counselor meetings in all business units and the successful implementation of new global tool.In addition to these two major roles I was supporting our global employee engagement survey locally and driving country level development actions, organizing our yearly employee events and coordinating corporate responsibility activities.

As recruitment specialist I was responsible for the first meetings with candidates, where main focus was to introduce Vincit culture and to discuss how well that matches with the individual’s working preferences and personal style. This was a part-time job during my parental leave from EY.
