CurrentGlo® was founded by MSU students through MSU's Center for Entrepreneurship. The team is responsible for the development, testing, certification, and manufacturing of Glo®, the first liquid-activated, lighted technology. This patented-technology was also used to create Glo Pals, a line of light-up sensory toys developed through autism research that aid in the development of fine motor skills and cognitive skills through sensory play. Glo® products can be found at retailers in all 50 states and have been shipped to more than 36 countries. • Conceptualized, developed, and launched Glo Pals, a line of children’s sensory products designed to aid in early childhood development, specifically for children with autism spectrum disorder or sensory processing disorder.• Scaled business model to meet demand of over 2,000 retailers and customers in 40+ countries, with key clients including Nordstrom, Macy’s, Kaplan Early Learning, Uncommon Goods, and Barnes and Noble.• Established brand identity and managed high-level creative direction across all projects - product and packaging design, copywriting, media production, website development, print collateral, and visual merchanding (i.e. tradeshows, POP displays).• Successfully negotiated and secured strategic partnerships with Sesame Workshop.• Completed 2 successful rounds of investment funding and issued 2 utility patents and 10 trademarks from USPTO.• Directed day-to-day operations for 25 full-time and part-time employees• Established partnership with Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital and Children's of MS to donate a portion of all proceeds
