Researched and crafted arguments on local policy topics, wrote press releases and literature for external publication. Surveyed 30 member organizations and used excel to input and analyze responses. Tracked legislation in Connecticut legislature; wrote and submitted testimony to Connecticut Congressional committees on behalf of clients. Redesigned promotion materials for membership drive. Input and analyzed over 250 surveys from Connecticut job fair participants regarding their financial and familial well-being.

University Of Delaware

Established the University of Delaware as a pilot campus for Learning Enterprises, a 501(c)(3) organization that provides English language instruction in developing countries. Recruited 8 applicants and 3 onboarded volunteers to travel overseas with Learning Enterprises in summer 2015. Advertised through social media and classroom information sessions. Reviewed applications and interviewed candidates from the University of Delaware. Taught training sessions for accepted volunteers.

Taxobeni, Moldova

Implemented Learning Enterprises’ month-long pilot program in Moldova as part of a three person team. Designed curriculum and independently taught English classes to Moldovan high school students 15 hours per week. Lived with a host family in the village in which I taught. Responded to student interest by teaching a daily dance class. Received full funding from the University of Delaware Honors Enrichment Award.
