I'm a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Michigan interested in sustainable energy. I've worked on a photocatalytic ammonia production project as a research assistant for over two years. Last summer, I worked at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory on CO2 capture and utilization. I have also worked in the Clean Energy Systems division at Plastic Omnium, focusing on emissions and permeation testing on an industrial scale. My goal is to help develop new renewable energy technology to help make the future more sustainable.I also have a passion for teaching--I am currently the Instructional Aide for CHE 342: Mass and Heat Transfer, and was the Instructional Aide for the Recycling Plastics section of ENGR 100 for two years. I'm also the lead of BLUElab Woven Wind's Application subteam where I help design and build a small-scale wind turbine for a rural school in Alaska while supplementing the students' educations.In addition, I'm the Internal Vice Executive of University of Michigan Science Olympiad (UMSO), helping run the annual tournament, and in my free time I enjoy making educational (and fun) YouTube videos!
