The aim is to realize a sewing and clothes repair workshop, which also deals with textile supply, design and production, mostly for individuals or theatre/film. The project name is PINKPONILO, which is a cultural brand, services and a community meeting point in Budapest. PP researches the designers making experiments with reusing textiles. At PP we provide sewing machines to use but also professionals to help you. Later we plan to organize workshops and produce DIY packages. We love to mix traditional techniques with technical textiles, we respect the emotional bonding with the favourite pieces. Our example is the “oriental” style of hospitality and the personal connection with professionals and customers. I plan to build connections with Turkey because of textile supply – in Hungary we have a huge lack of various, good quality materials.
