Colleagues describe them as "I’ve known Anna Lanz for more than 6 years now in 2024, with a start during her undergrad program. Back in 2018, I was teaching a course called Human Resources Management with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition & Development of Leadership and Entrepreneurial kills. As my student Anna performed extremely well in all the tasks to be delivered but also in the way of how she interacted with other students. The course was heavily designed to push the students towards an intense work in teams. Anna was dynamic, independent and demonstrated a lot of intellectual curiosity during the classes, a trait very common among my best / above the average students. At the same she was collecting as much information as possible to support a career decision, I’ve observed how involved & integrated she was with the topic family business and it’s dynamics, due to her own family situation at that time. Family business tends to be much more complex than not-family-business due to the emotions mixed in the daily business. She was able to observe, describe and build opinions & own impression on the topic. She was always searching for excellence in her tasks, was not afraid to ask for help or opinion when needed and demonstrated a lot of to execute deliverables - in my humble opinion - her discipline comes from her dedication to the sports. In her case ice skating. Working in an international environment will not be a challenge for her, giving her ability with languages and interaction with different cultures along the time at the university and later on in the USA. Giving her full academic & professional & sport performance all combined, I strongly recommend Anna for roles in the business environment where she can work independently and put up to work her full creativity to get things done.
