I have had a privilege to lead and perform challenging and rewarding missions. In each job and assignment I have gained new insights and expertise. At Nokia´s network and service businesses I headed and facilitated marketing communication and communications for global businesses with regional structures and local execution. This provided me with wealth of expertise in brand management, B2B marketing, marketing communications, change management and customer driven operations, strategies, processes and leadership.Teollisuuden Voima provided me with different perspective: I learned how the Finnish society and EU works and how companies can influence in their operating environment. My nine years at the nuclear power company - and its subsidiary building world first final repository for nuclear waste - was a deep dive in media relations; crisis, litigation, executive and stock exchange communications, public affairs and corporate responsibility. My most rewarding task at TVO was to head a major communications and influencing campaign in EU instances and major European countries to support the position of Olkiluoto 3 nuclear power project in the restructuring of the French nuclear industry, and in the multi-billion arbitration concerning the delays of the project. The mission was completed in spring 2018 when related settlement agreement was signed.As a consultant and interim director I had a pleasure to leverage my experience and expand my expertise while serving businesses in sectors new to me, like social and health care sector and food industry. I also took time for self renewal while pursuing studies about the latest developments of theories and practices concerning communications, influencing and sustainability. I now serve City of Helsinki and its inhabitants as Head of Safety and Preparedness Communications serving Helsinki City Rescue Department - yet another meaningful and societally important mission to perform.
