With over 6 years of experience as a nanny and babysitter, I have developed a deep understanding of childcare, spanning from infants to teenagers. My background includes not only direct caregiving but also educational support as a tutor, where I assisted elementary-age children with homework, math, and literacy skills.My passion for child development is further supported by my completion of a year-long Child Development course in high school, where I engaged with a virtual third-grade classroom, taught lessons, and supported students with their academic tasks.My commitment to helping children extends beyond paid work. As a dedicated volunteer with Friendship Circle from September 2015 to June 2022, I engaged therapeutically with children with disabilities, building connections through play and support. During the pandemic, I adapted to provide masked home visits and continued to foster meaningful relationships through activities like baking and games.Additionally, I have a strong background in pet care, having started a dog-walking and pet-sitting service at the age of 10. This passion continues today through platforms like Rover.com and Wag.com, and I maintain my practice while attending school and visiting home in Seattle.My role as a Kids Club Attendant at Omni Barton Creek Resort involved supervising and entertaining up to 15 children, handling conflict management, and maintaining a safe, engaging environment.Currently, I serve as a Peer Health Educator at St. Edward’s University, where I contribute to promoting wellness and health education among peers.
