Assisting charity's founder with a range of tasks including providing in-house safeguarding training for volunteers, bid writing, policy assistance.Helping to run 'Keep well Wednesdays', a social group for older adults: sessions covering movement and exercise, mental health content, fun social games.

Organising and running 'NN Streetballerz', street basketball informal coaching sessions for young people at risk of anti-social behaviour and knife crime, based at the Racecourse Northampton. (Castle Ward) All secondary school aged young people welcome, any level. Aimed at engaging those on the fringes of crime, using sport as positive diversionary activity. Successfully applied for Lottery Community funding to run the project for a year, includes summer daytime sessions and year round after school club sessions. Responsibilities include: leading informal educational talks/activities focused on youth voice, social action and early intervention and prevention in each session, alongside providing food. Liaising with coaches, local police, council, third sector voluntary/charity organisations. Writing risk assessments, safety planning, safeguarding responsibility, liaising with young people, parents and schools/colleges. Following up on any incidents influencing community safety.

Working 1-1 mentoring young people with mild to moderate mental health issues on the 'Support+' programme based in schools or at Service Six office. Preparing resources around all kinds of mental health areas including thought patterns, anxiety, depression, anger, stress, coping strategies.

Assisting at youth club; leading and assisting with recruiting young people, range of activities including arts+crafts, sports, team games, food provision.Attending events to represent NAYC, for example: family fun days, volunteer fairs, community events. Talking to members of the public about NAYC and running fun activities for young people to have a go at.

Teaching workshops and assemblies with young people in secondary schools and alternative provision settings on topics including anti-violence, anti-bullying. Using real life stories to encourage students to empathise, make positive choices and think about the consequences of their actions. Alsocreated some resources on knife crime for the organisation.

Includes basic overview, stress, anxiety, depression, suicide awareness, resiliance, coping strategies, supporting others/in the workplace. - MHFA courses delivered (adult/youth, mental health aware, refresher) under Anna Letts Education: Northants Carers, Wellingborough and East Northants' school staff, NPAT trust of schools, youth worker organisations The Lowdown and Service Six. MHFA courses delivered on behalf of Adult Learning/Learn2Be, West and North Northants Councils. Team include Northamptonshire Libraries, various schools. Also developed curriculum content for public sessions 'An introduction to mental health.'- Mental health ambassadors student leadership training: Friars Academy, Wellingborough: training students as mental health ambassadors through general leadership skills and mental health content. Leading discussions on how to take youth voice ideas forwards to further embed mental health ethos within the school. - SERCO, a nationwide company: writing a bespoke mental health scheme of work for young people aged 19-24 entering the workforce for the first time. A range of content including how to look after your own mental health and support others.

Btec teacher for the FEP (football education programme): teaching units for the Level 3 in Sports coaching. Preparing lesson content, responsible for monitoring pupil progress, assessing coursework and providing feedback.

Inclusion Officer: Organising and running ‘Premier League Kicks' programme: providing free informal football coaching sessions in deprived areas aimed at diverting young people away from crime; anti-social behaviour, knife crime and gang culture. Responsible for budget, recruiting, training, inducting and line managing coaches and volunteers. Dealing with safeguarding, physical safety issues, responsible for risk assessing and emergency planning for venues and activities. Coaching football with targeted young people, including those with challenging behaviour, SEN and those defined as ‘NEET’, with the aim to improve confidence and self-esteem and focus on improving personal skills as well as sports skills. Qualified MHFA instructor (mental health first aid): delivering courses for adults in a range of organisations to support each other and their service users. Content includes depression, stress, anxiety, suicide, eating disorders, self-harm, recovery, strategies to manage mental health. Acting as Mental Health First Aider (appointed person) for listening and signposting colleagues for support.

Using knowledge of sports premium funding and Ofsted criteria to assist sales meetings. Creating timetables, contracts, service level agreements, responsibility for invoicing schools and partners. Leading induction, review meetings and sales meetings with senior school leaders and clusters/trusts. PESS (PE in school sport): acting as assessor and Internal Quality Assurance, tutor observations, assisting with course content. Writing original resources for the schools’ team working in schools (mental health, social action, crime awareness). Training staff, observations, informal mentoring.

• Working as an outreach teacher based in study support centres teaching sports themed programmes across the county (primary and secondary schools) to engage, enhance and extend pupils’ learning in maths, English and ICT. Programmes aimed to raise aspirations, change attitudes towards learning and boost achievement in school. • Centre manager/leader: running different study centres based at Northamptonshire’s professional sports clubs. Teaching a sports themed curriculum, developing innovative curriculum and resources, liaising with primary and secondary schools, partnership working with sports clubs and other agencies, responsibility for budget, paid staff, volunteers and transport. This includes setting up and running an Olympics themed centre at Grendon Outdoor Education Centre. • Teaching in primary and secondary schools across the county providing learning programmes for targeted groups of pupils: EAL, SEN, EBD (educational behavioural difficulties) and LAC. (Looked after children in care) • Practical sports coaching, partnership working with professional sports clubs and delivering county council initiatives. • Completing ‘University of the First Age’ (UFA) fellowship training in order to teach student leadership programmes and embed training within schools, for example ‘Super Learner’ and transition days. • Organising and teaching transition projects across the county linking secondary schools with their primary cluster schools.
