Proposal Development• Coordinates proposal efforts for donor-funded agriculture and entrepreneurship programs in Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America. Clients include USAID, DFID, USDA, Gates Foundation, European bilaterals, and private sector partners. • Writes proposal sections in line with bid-specific requirements and tight timelines. Drafts management, institutional capability, and annex sections, including staffing plans, branding and marking plans, CVs, and letters of commitment. Copy edits, formats proposals and develops graphics. • Supports proposal recruitment efforts through the entire recruitment process, from job ad drafting, shortlisting, phone screens, and interviews, to selection and negotiation. Works with proposed key personnel to document their qualifications. • Traveled to facilitate design sessions in Peru, El Salvador, Zambia, and South Africa. Opportunity Capture• Manages pipeline upkeep and reporting via Salesforce. Creates customized reports on pipeline health and develops monthly, quarterly, yearly presentations for Board and senior management on new business performance and lessons learned. • Supports capture through recon trips, writing marketing materials, and conducting capture landscape analyses and donor research. Supports planning, logistics for marketing trips. Knowledge Management• Creates KM tools, templates, and processes to capture knowledge and streamline proposal production. Liaises with divisional staff to capture up-to-date project knowledge and data across technical sectors. Redesigned team page on company intranet to improve user friendliness of new KM tools. • Manages qualifications and past performance reference library, tracker, and pipeline. Ensures timelines are responsive to bid release dates. Training & Mentoring• Manages Program Development Internship Program. Recruits, supervises, and mentors two interns per trimester. Trained new PD Associate.
