The Equality of the people, protecting the Rights of all, humans and non-humans... and the capacity of synthesis between different cultures are the testing ground of contemporary democracies.What is written into 20th century constitutions often... too often.. remains an unfulfilled goal.So... Justice seems sometimes shrinking from horizon... for a decent and peaceful life for all.We must have a set of procedures to resolve disputes and conflicts.It is in this context that I conceived, with some friends of mine,the idea of an annual event aimed at recovering the awareness of the ethical and political technical question of Justice:" Is Justice really possible ?... as the great contemporary philosopher Thomas Nagel asks in one of his famous books??We Association organize an appointment among scholars, judgees, lawyers, politicians, decision makers and other public figures from different backgrounds who aim to put in place, subjecting them to the judgment of the citizens, issues related to the Civil Rights and Common Good.This is our " WORDS OF JUSTICE " ... ( www.paroledigiustizia.it ).The appointment takes place always in La Spezia, Italy, the town in which GIUSEPPE BORRE' was born, a very famous judge and civil jurist who the Association recalls itself for promoting the ideals and the " civil virtues " in which he believed so much spending his entire public life.After analyzing the " new rights " and " denied rights "... the company's governance models and protection" ( or lack of protection ) of fundamental Rights, what " Common Good" means, how real democracy operates and the " moral question "... the future of Europe, citizens participation in the life of their Countries, citizens's feeling of insecurity which intertwines reality and manipulations, WORDS OF JUSTICE tackles this year the crucial crossing between denied jobs and THE Right to get a job protected by our Constitutions ... and Democracy concept in itself.
