I come prepared with a strong background in psychology, 6+ years of research experience, and a passion for evidence-based practice. Throughout my academic research career, I gained a comprehensive understanding of research methodologies, statistical analysis (SPSS, R), and experimental design. In addition to PhD coursework in Basic and Applied Social Psychology, I am actively engaged in multiple large-scale research projects. For instance, my Master's thesis recruited 900 online participants to participate in a series of studies addressing how monoracial White individuals evaluate mixed-race, Multiracial partners. Outside the lab, I am a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Baruch College, CUNY, where I advise and mentor undergraduate psychology majors enrolled in an advanced research methods course. I possess strong organizational and management skills. As a Lab Manager and Research Assistant at the University of Virginia, I supervised 30 undergraduate research assistants while administering behavioral studies in the lab, online (mTurk, Prolific), and in field settings. This position also involved administration tasks, such as tracking lab expenses and leading weekly meetings with graduate students.
