My name is Annalise Policicchio, and I am currently looking for a position that deals with education, history, archiving, or social studies in one shape or another.I recently resigned from my 8-year job as the Before School Supervisor/Assistant Kindergarten Teacher/Substitute Bus Driver for the Kidz Korner and the Kidz Korner Summer Venture programs at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Allison Park, PA. I am also currently employed on weekends at The CBD Wellness Store in Bethel Park, PA.I possess a Master's Degree in American History, an Instructional I Certificate for the state of Pennsylvania in Social Studies, a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education Social Studies, a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in French, and am proficient in Productivity software for both Microsoft's Windows and Apple's OS X (Mavericks) operating systems. I am proficient in communication and web production software, as well as graphics and video editing software. I am interested in history in all of its forms, though I possess a Master's in American History. In particular, I am interested in the American Civil War and the topic of propaganda and its impact on the conflict from both the Union and Confederate viewpoints. My Master's Thesis was, in fact, on propaganda, but the focus was on whether or not propaganda in Great Britain and France during the American Civil War impacted the Laird Rams incident of 1863. A subtopic in my thesis was an examination of Great Britain and France's reactions to Union and Confederate propaganda, and the impact of said propaganda on the two European nations' decisions , and how the impact(s) could have/would have affected the outcome of the Laird Rams and the American Civil War.
