In three years, I grew the program from 43 girls in one city to over 1400 girls in 24 states and 19 countries.

Designed and taught a six-month Journey around the World thematic unit in which students “traveled” to 16 countries—using authentic artifacts, food, artwork, literature, and costumes to enrich their understanding of each culture. Received a grant from the Albany Education Foundation to purchase yoga mats for the school and implemented a yoga and mindfulness program with my students. Member: Gardening Committee, Community of Respect Committee, Greening Schools Committee, and Conflict Manager Program.
