I have recently just made the transition from S&C intern to S&C coach as the previous coach has moved on to another position.The DRFC are a group of young, fit rugby players who work hard in the gym and on the pitch.It has been a great five months working with them so far, and it is exciting to see where we can take them in 2017.

I am currently undertaking an internship with the Peak Performance strength and conditioning department at Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH, USA.During this internship I will be working with talented and knowledgable strength and conditioning trainers in order to develop as a junior S&C and gain experience working within a Division 1 Collegiate sport environment.

Dunedin

As part of a placement opportunity during my GDAS, PC course I ran the training session and game day warm-ups, cool-downs, extra conditioning and gym based training sessions for the young Taeiri College athletes. These were a great bunch of young men who worked hard and allowed me to develop my skills as a junior S&C coach. It was also great exposure to the game of rugby union.

Waiouru Army Camp

Working under the physiotherapist and head rehabilitation physical trainer, I was involved with the rehabilitation and physical conditioning of both recruits and full time soldiers posted to Waiouru.
