After a long and rewarding museum career, I am focusing on my own art, teaching, writing, and climate activism. I lead art workshops at the Ghost Ranch Education Center in New Mexico. I have taught for Stanford University's Continuing Studies Program, also at the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, Nevada Museum of Art, Palo Alto Arts Center, and other venues.I am active with Citizens' Climate Lobby and Friends Committee on National Legislation. Weekend AssistantGeorgia O'Keeffe 1976 - 1977I was hired to assist Georgia O'Keeffe on the weekends (Friday 5 pm to Monday 8 am) but often worked during the week when other staff members were unavailable. I cooked for O'Keeffe, read mail and books to her, combed her hair, drew her bath water, tucked her into bed, etc. My favorite task was accompanying her on walks to the red cliffs near her Ghost Ranch house. I watched for rattlesnakes, and I did keep her from treading on one.
