Project Manager
Together with the main Project manager for Teknikdagarna I had the responsibility of organising and planning Sveriges Ingenjörer’s largest annual event Teknikkollo. Teknikdagarna’s purpose is to promote kids’ interest in science and technology. Overall there were 1,200 kids invited to Sergels Torg to try out different science experiments during 3 days in May 2009/2010/2011. I was given the opportunity to arrange Teknikdagarna 3 years in a row. My tasks consisted of both strategic and operative elements such as creating the overall marketing plan. I was in charge of many hands-on tasks including: recruiting 30-50 tutors for the kids (mainly students from KTH), sending invitations, administrating the rsvp’s, filing paperwork for the police license, renting required tents and much more. The budget for Teknikdagarna was 1,500,000 SEK and I was responsible for the disbursement of 500,000 SEK2011 was Sveriges Ingenjörer’s 150 year anniversary. In celebration of this, I was responsible for their tour throughout Sweden with Teknikkollo. The budget was 100,000 SEK and I recruited 10 tutors, planned and organised the logistics for the tour.
