User experience and interaction designer in Intel's New Devices Group. Designed experiences from concept to details for wearable technologies and other digital/physical products.

Advocated and employed user-centered design practices in an interdisciplinary team of engineers, designers, project managers, and researchers. Led design research and usability studies to inform and improve the design of software and hardware products. Research included planning, recruitment, facilitation, and analysis for a variety of study methods including ethnography, concept testing, and exploration with prototypes. Communicated findings as actionable results and recommendations to stakeholders. I often wore many hats, creating interactive prototypes (from paper, to clickthrough to wizard of oz hardware) and design artifacts for my studies.

Designed an interactive online course grounded in problem-based inquiry for high school science teachers to learn how climatologists use corals to study global climate change. Led an interdisciplinary team of students to create the functioning course. Project directed by Brian Magerko, professor at Georgia Tech, and funded by the NASA Electronic Professional Development Network.

Employed user-centered design to design and evaluate a web‐based reading tool and mobile classroom application for distance university students in Barcelona, Spain.

Designed an Adobe Flex application to allow people to keep track of their mental health.
 My responsibilities included background research, user experience design, and visual design.

Designed graphics, user experience & user studies for OpenStudy (http://openstudy.com), an online social network that connects students and provides them the tools to help each other learn.
