Adjunct Faculty in Exercise and Nutrition Sciences: Teaching Foundations of Sport Psychology and Writing Intensive section of Sport Psychology

Office of Retention and Student Success•Offer peer-based success coaching to at-risk freshman students to assist in transition to university and students on academic probation (e.g., study skills, exam anxiety, stress management, time management) •Provide interactive seminars to audiences of 10 to 150 on academic success topics.

WVU Army ROTC •Conduct individual mental skills sessions with cadets. Develop and execute workshops on mental toughness, stress management, time management, mindfulness, and guided imagery. WVU Club Sports•Lead team and individual sessions with a variety of athletes on topics including decision-making, mental toughness, performance anxiety, sport-school balance, goal-setting, and emotional regulation.

Individual and group counseling at inpatient facility to help individuals with a chronic mental illness diagnosis and concurrent addiction; focus mainly on fighting region-wide opiate epidemic.

Development and support of health management programs, compiling and publishing health screening data, providing orientations to fitness center, and various other supportive tasks.

Optimistically enriched young minds through instruction of athletic coaching education and PE courses. Taught Diversity and Sport for athletic coaching education majors, weight training, conditioning, volleyball, and indoor soccer.
