She is routinely instructed on large subsea/submarine cable projects across EMEA, Asia and the Americas and also regularly advises on other infrastructure projects, including terrestrial network roll-outs, datacentre set-up/operations and superfast broadband/altnet infrastructure/sales arrangements. Anna’s expertise includes: ꜱᴜʙᴍᴀʀɪɴᴇ ᴄᴀʙʟᴇꜱ: Advising on all aspects of submarine cable work (consortium/private/open cable arrangements), including drafting and negotiating supply contracts, C&MAs/JBAs, landing party/backhaul arrangements, branch builds/upgrades, restoration arrangements and fibre/capacity/spectrum sales arrangements. ᴅᴀᴛᴀᴄᴇɴᴛʀᴇ: Negotiating and advising on joint ventures for the establishment of new data centres, including negotiating arrangements for the supply of terrestrial and subsea connectivity, advising on regulatory issues and drafting and negotiating arrangements with key customers. Advising on virtual datacentre/cloud arrangements.ɴᴇᴛᴡᴏʀᴋ ʀᴏʟʟ-ᴏᴜᴛꜱ: Terrestrial network roll-outs, including drafting and negotiating dark fibre agreements, including dealing with ILA sites and breakout, colocation arrangements and maintenance services; negotiating back-to-back arrangements with anchor-tenants.ꜱᴜᴩᴇʀꜰᴀꜱᴛ ʙʀᴏᴀᴅʙᴀɴᴅ/ᴀʟᴛɴᴇᴛ: Advising superfast broadband/altnet clients, including network roll-outs, obtaining the grant of Code powers, arrangements with landlords/developers and customer terms. ᴏᴛʜᴇʀ: Regulatory considerations and large-scale/high value equipment/software procurement.
