When the best leaders’ work is done, the people will say ‘We did it ourselves’.A professional educator operator and dynamic educational leader of staffs of over 140, I have been recruited to open and mature international schools from South Korea, Qatar and to Mongolia. As with any complex start-up organization, management, organizational and communication skills are vital to lead and coordinate the diverse disciplines in multinational teams in managing high performing staff. From the strategic formation of new policies and curriculum to the tactical hands-on effort required for event planning and media communications, I have had broad opportunities to achieve recognized success.Particularly proud of the sense of community I have been able to instill within each school, I believe this is reflected in the community’s core values and ultimately the school outcomes.Confident yet creative, of the six schools I’ve opened, I have successfully taken three schools through international accreditation. These achievements have required the leadership, commitment and fortitude to both to demonstrate consistent improvement but to also be dedicated to the vision and values of the organization.Leading initiatives has been exceptionally rewarding to me, from anti-bullying campaigns to recycling operations, I have been actively engaged in new enterprises to support important causes. Having achieved successful outcomes as a leader of organizational start-ups within the educational arena, I am open to transfer my leadership skills to disciplines outside education as well. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:► Policy creation to support government regulations► Implemented government educational curriculums► Successfully prepared and passed government audits and inspections► Developed mission, vision and values for international schools► Effected a philanthropic program now adopted nationallyIf you would like to discuss my experiences, connect with me on LinkedIn.

Founding Principal ►Educational Architect ♦ Process Improvement Specialist ♦ Program DevelopmentBritish School Of Ulaanbaatar (Bsu) Jul 2012 - Oct 2014Ulaanbaatar, MongoliaThe British School of Ulaanbaatar in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia is a private international school, which offers an educational program from Pre-school to Year 13 for students of all nationalities wishing to study a British school curriculum. In 2012 I was brought on board to found the British School in Mongolia. Profitable at year one, within 2 years was student enrollment double and the school was recognized as the second best fee-paying school in Ulaanbaatar. Starting a new school is similar to any start up in terms of developing the framework of any institution, from the creation of initial policies to staffing and developing departments from Human Resources to Finance. Recognizing that validation of the organization is required for any hope of longevity, I ensured accreditation through COBIS, PENTA and Cambridge International Examinations, key accreditation agencies for this institution. I developed other metrics as well to report on Key Performance Indicators including targets in teaching, revenue and attainment. -
Principal ► Turnaround Strategies ♦ Educational Leader ♦ Institutional Operations ♦ Problem SolverNewton International School Sep 2011 - Aug 2012Doha, QatarLagoon Campus - The Newton International School in Doha aims to provide the highest quality of education possible for all our students. In doing so, we aim to positively encourage each student to achieve academic excellence, enjoy diversity, develop critical thinking skills and become lifelong learners and responsible citizens. Following the successful launch of the D-Ring school, Newton handpicked me to revitalize the Lagoon school in Doha Qatar. In danger of closing, I successfully invigorated the frustrated staff by developing a more distributed leadership structure. Driven and hardworking, I embraced the challenge to manage the team of professionals toward agreed upon goals. Eventually, Lagoon was one of only ten schools that year to be accredited by the Supreme Education Council as a School of Excellence in Qatar. An institution is more than brick and mortar. It should be a part of the community. As such, I found it important to engage in endeavors to promote awareness of the Qatar Woman and Child Protection Association, develop musical performances, and even Rock Challenge and Formula 1 competitions. -
