Oversee all aspects of United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Information Security Center (ISC) program execution for several projects from initiation to closing in the PMO environment. Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership.Conduct project initiation requests discovery, stakeholder identification and analysis; develop project chartersDefine/develop and proactively manage project scope, project management plans, schedules, and cost estimates / budgets. Monitor and control overall project progress relative to the goals, metrics, and timelines.Facilitate project change requests to inform all parties of the impacts on schedule and budget Assess program risks and issues, anticipate challenges, manage risk and issue logs, create risk mitigation plans Guide cross-functional teams to achieve goals in accordance with established priorities, policies, costs, and schedules Report status to leadership (milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues) and recommend corrective actions Identify opportunities for optimization and process improvements through collaboration across teamsConduct project close-out evaluations (lessons learned) and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
