Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - Department Of Women’S And Children’S Health

An average of 350 patients are admitted per year in this level III NICU, 75% of them have a BW below 1500g.The unit has 10 intensive care cots, 9 high dependency care cots and 8 special care cots. A constant collaboration with the whole Paediatric Department allows the neonatal team to provide specialised cares in different areas: neonatal surgery, cardiac surgery, cardiology, nephrology, neurology, gastroenterology.
