I specialised in user interface testing, promoting team communication and outcome focused production.My role involved three main goals: 1. To ensure that the user interface software was reliable for customer use.2. To ensure user interface software fitted acceptance criteria. 3. Fostering effective communication between the members of our team to ensure a satisfactory outcome. My responsibilities began with analysing user stories and elaborating on acceptance criteria. I utilized Azure DevOps to translate these requirements into test scripts to ensure high-quality software outcomes. The next step was to execute these test scripts and implement a structured testing approach to enhance product reliability. I collected these results by documenting ‘passes’ and ‘fails’ to pin point issues to effectively eliminate them. Finally I collated results in Microsoft Excel spread sheets to display the feedback and results in a comprehensive way to streamline test management, and to communicate the progress on issues and how we were working towards a resolution. I also created wire frameworks to help the development team visualise the requirements as the final user interface to provide them with an outcome to work towards, enhancing communication and delivery. This served to significantly streamline our production process. My role involved a large amount of back and forth between the development team and management, to communicate and target issues for speedy resolution. My efforts were pivotal in fostering close collaboration with developers, contributing to significant improvements in software deployment strategies.
