As Head of Legal for HelloFresh Canada, I am responsible for building out HelloFresh’s legal department by establishing efficient workflow and procedures. I oversee all legal, regulatory, risk and compliance activities and work closely with the company’s global teams to address risks facing the business. I am on the North American legal team and I provide legal advice to the executive team on the development and execution of HelloFresh’s business strategy, a range of commercial disputes, marketing and advertising, procurement, data privacy, cross-border initiatives, intellectual property, and licensing. I develop, administer and oversee all aspects of HelloFresh’s regulatory and privacy procedures and have taken on the role of Data Protection Officer (DPO).
