1. Assist Inpatient and Outpatient Coders with coding patient charts using ICD-10-CM and CPT codes2. Index information from inpatient and outpatient records3. Perform quality assurance functions for inpatient and outpatient medical records4. Assist with the collection of data for Performance Improvement Corporate Compliance activities.6. Monitor and report on inpatient statistics as assigned7. Assist with release of information tasks as requested8. Assist with preparation for federal, state and insurance company surveys. Meet with surveyor as necessary9. Assist with transition and training for the implementation of ICD-1010. Assist with transition to electronic health record11.
