Research Assistant in Dr. Yogesh Scindia's lab at UF College of Medicine studying iron metabolism in Lupus Nephritis. Co-first author of 'An essential role of iron in Tfh cell development and effector function' published in the Journal of Immunology. I excel in tasks such as tissue harvesting from mice, cell staining for flow cytometric assays, and preparing thin tissue sections using cryostat and microtome machines. I am trained in conducting experiments with mouse models and human cell lines, generating data from assays, ELISA, PCR, cell culture, and Western Blots. Additionally, I have had the privilege of mentoring fellow undergraduate students who joined our lab, teaching these procedures, and guiding them as our lab expanded.I have presented our research at the UF Undergraduate Research Symposium & UF COM Research Symposium.Awarded the University Research Scholars Stipend.

Serving as both the Holi & Diwali Director for the Indian Student Organization, I had the privilege of organizing one of the largest keynote cultural events at UF- the vibrant Indian festival of Holi & Diwali. I collaborated with the executive board to lead a team of dedicated volunteers in the scheduling, booking, and planning of these large events. Through this role, I not only promoted cultural awareness and unity within the community but also developed leadership, organizational, and communication skills essential for effective event management. Both events attracted an impressive turnout of over 800 attendees, fostering a vibrant and inclusive community for Indian students and the broader Indian community in Gainesville.

As a Chemistry Teaching Assistant, I teach breakout groups of 7-10 students per week and review chemistry concepts discussed in class.

Led a team of 50 ambassadors in the "U Matter, We Care" initiative at UF with the executive board, focusing on mental health and connecting students with campus resources. Held weekly meetings to develop a mentorship program for struggling underclassmen and first-generation college students. Created marketing outreach materials, conducted recruitment interviews as Membership Director, and organized team bonding and diversity and inclusion discussions to promote unity on campus, focusing on care-related resources and support networks. Also served as the Mentorship Director, leading my team to to enhance the external presence of our mentorship program with the 'UMatter We Care' Initiative at UF. I work directly with the marketing team to create media for the mentorship program and promote the program on campus.

10-week program to connect with college students around the world and discuss relevant neuroscience research articles. As a group leader each week, I set up and facilitate weekly small group presentations and write a report detailing the meeting.
