Annanya Agarwal Email and Phone Number
I am a recent graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Microbiology and Cell Science. My passion for addressing health inequities began while working with the underserved Guatemalan community, where I focused on reducing health disparities and youth engagement. As a licensed EMT who has served on a 911 response team, I’ve had the opportunity to work with diverse populations, which has shaped me into a fierce advocate for patient-centered care and health education.Currently, I am working with Boston Medical Center's StreetCred Program in the Pediatric department. StreetCred is a Public Health Project dedicated to addressing the social determinants of health by providing financial services, such as tax preparation, directly within the clinical setting to help families improve their economic stability. Through this work, I am committed to improving health outcomes for families in the Boston community.I believe it is essential to view each individual as a spectrum of their experiences rather than merely a product of their circumstances. I am passionate about public health, holistic care, cardiology, and pediatrics—areas I plan to pursue further in medical school. I am driven by a commitment to improve access to healthcare and foster strong patient-provider relationships. I'm eager to continue learning, collaborating, and making a tangible impact on communities in need.
