About Anna Paige
Anna Paige is an award-winning journalist focused on sharing stories of connectivity. She's an assistant editor at The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead working with the business and features team and has been working in the newspaper and publishing industry since 2004. Anna has undergraduate degrees in anthropology and journalism from the University of Wyoming and a master's degree in arts and culture management with a concentration in creative writing from the University of Denver. She has resided in the West for her entire life, growing up in Wyoming and spending the past two decades in Montana before relocating to North Dakota in 2024. In Billings, she helped found Young Poets to teach poetry in the elementary schools. In 2021, Young Poets was the winner of a Library of Congress Award for Literacy. Anna is also the producer and co-host of "Resounds: Arts and Culture on the High Plains” for Yellowstone Public Radio. Anna is an organizer with the annual Dreyfest arts, poetry, comedy, and music festival in Billings and has organized events for the annual High Plains Book Awards. She is a Montana Grand Slam champion and has been named Best Spoken Word Artist by the Magic City Music Awards.Anna is an active performer and member of Kirks' Grocery, an arts and community center in Billings where she was instrumental in installing the city's first community refrigerator, stocked weekly with fresh-made foods, open to all regardless of ability to pay.
