- Research and analyze global climate policy, UN and civil society reports, as well as community-based organizations’ approaches to write case studies on the climate crisis in countries such as Cambodia, Maldives, Nigeria, India, and Vietnam.- Create a database on climate refugees by researching drivers of the climate crisis, civil society’s work to alleviate climate-induced displacement, and national government’s actions for climate resilience to create a tool for policymakers to make countries accountable for losses and damages.

- Supervised the development of partnerships and reciprocal projects with 20 community based organizations in Los Angeles and served as a peer mentor and resource for the cohort of 40 Education in Action (EIA) facilitators, including supporting facilitators in need of guidance with particular issue(s) relating to EIA programming.- Co-facilitated and led EIA meetings as well as planned events, designed program materials, booked meeting spaces, and organized documents such as work plans, reflection assignments, evaluations, and final course summaries.

I worked alongside three cultural studies professors during the program to better serve the academic and personal needs of fifty incoming first-year students. I served as a writing adviser, prepared and presented writing workshops, and mentored students on an academic, social, and personal level.

- Partnered with the Office of Community Engagement (OCE) at Occidental College and the Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program to host and plan a gathering of instructors who were previously trained in the Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program methodology, which equips instructors to teach inside prisons. - Planned Incarceration Awareness Month with events including Incarceration Awareness Informational Quad Fair and a Story Circle Night with Inside Out Writers.
