About Anna Perricci
Leader with over 16 years of experience doing and guiding innovative work in nonprofit organizations as a consultant, project manager, strategic partnership director and teacher. I am adaptable and creative, which has enabled me to meet team members where they are and strategically plan how new programs or emerging initiatives can become sustainable ventures. Partnership, Project & Program Management:Currently, I am the Senior Manager for DPC Americas, which is based both at ITHAKA and the DPC. I specialize in developing cooperative projects that are mutually beneficial and equitable. Business and sustainability planning are incorporated in how I establish win-win relationships with partners. I have built and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and advisees. 2017-2019, I grew strategic partnerships, conducted business planning and supported users of a rapidly growing suite of software tools. 2013-2017, as a project manager, I rallied groups of stakeholders and productively influenced them, without formal authority, to contribute to newly established initiatives in the midst of substantial competing demands. These projects included: the Ivy Plus Library Confederation’s collaborative web archiving program (via Columbia University) and EAST (Eastern Academic Scholars’ Trust), a group of libraries that retain and share millions of print resources (e.g. books).Consulting:2021-2024, I served as an external reviewer for proposals submitted to a major philanthropic foundation. I assess the feasibility of the work proposed and provide feedback for the Program Director to consider and then share with applicants as needed. I have advised the University of Rhode Island (URI) Master Gardener Program on fundraising, capacity building and strategic planning. Other deliverables produced include: research and recommendations for survey design; written analysis of a software project's viability; grant proposals; and custom curricula for several workshops. Teaching:Over the past 11 years I have taught hundreds of archivists, librarians and information professionals about digital preservation, especially how to get started with web archiving and ethically create collections of web resources. I am also a volunteer community educator who uses personal experience and science-backed information to support friends, neighbors and colleagues who are growing plants, especially vegetables and houseplants. Annually, I grow over 100 pounds of food in my yard, which I enjoy eating, preserving, photographing and sharing.
