Performed various tasks ranging from optimizing MEMS mirror performance by analyzing angle response, voltage-frequency behavior, and correcting laser beam path errors to developed a custom 24V digital logic circuit controlling dark-field lighting, shutter systems, and enclosure lights, activated via serial commands and bit flip signals. I also designed an opto-mechanical camera setup for full-slide dark-field tissue imaging, and built a custom electronics enclosure for 10 devices with optimized heat ventilation, and proposed a control board redesign with 3D models for enhanced system integration.

Leading the development of dry, reusable EMG electrodes for integration with exoskeletons and prosthetics, aimed at users with muscular dystrophy and other intramuscular conditions. Improved electrode reliability by addressing design flaws and enhancing conductivity. Developed Arduino firmware to interface with a gesture recognition machine learning model, enabling improved user control and system feedback for assistive devices.

Designed and constructed all mechanical and electrical components of a myoelectric training tool with 4 degrees of freedom and integrated with Myant’s textile EMG forearm band by altering the RMS algorithm of a C# GUI and creating a python program that interprets the GUI outputs to smoothly move the arm using packet and serial communication.

Developed a web page with a colleague using HTML, CSS, and JS for laptop and mobile devices to simplify end user experience and make searching for pricing information more accessible. We implemented a high-speed algorithm in JS to match dimensions to skylights stored in a CSV file.
