My role with the Hope Foundation involved keeping other volunteers updated and informed about upcoming fundraisers and events. These varied from charity dinners, bag-packing, cake sales and raffle ticket selling at larger functions. It was our responsibility to hit fundraising targets and promote the charity, despite the difficult economic climate. My primary responsibility was to maintain communication with all of the volunteers and ensure that enough people were available to assist for any particular event.

My role as an intern was to ensure the smooth running of each event from start to finish while working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
