Chief Operating Officer for Marin Sun Farms, a vertically integrated company controlling its own pasture-based production(farms/ranches), processing(USDA inspected slaughterhouse and meat processing plant), packaging, distribution, sales and marketing; operating under strict USDA compliance. Always with an eye for holistic success, I directed staff, sales and marketing, accounting, HR, private label processing and business development. Notably, I lead the organic certification and humane handling certification, a full marketing overhaul; brand strategy, new website, redesigned collateral, packaging and brand book. I grew the company's wholesale distribution with both internal direct wholesale and a negotiated deal with US Foods, and an expansion of retail and service channels. The sales team was rebuilt and fulfillment processes were streamlined. Under my leadership the company profitably built and grew a more sustainable local food economy.
