I write, produce and direct films and design and curate exhibitions and installations for our London gallery space but also for clients and festivals. In addition I work on social value initiatives and am a key member of our EDI forum.

As Content Producer for international design practice HASSELL in their London studio I combined many elements from my career history into one role. With the main focus of raising the profile of the practice within the UK and Europe using mainly creative means such as film making, exhibition design, photography, pop-up events and installations but also working closely with the international communications team to develop and implement a coherent PR strategy for the region. I sought out interesting organisations and individuals with which to collaborate and produce work which helped create a strong identity, engage the practice with the wider community and set us apart from the competition.

Brighton, Brighton And Hove, England

Built Environment Media is an international architectural news and awards organisation. In this role I oversaw the development and organisation of World Architecture Day, a three-day architectural conference based in Shanghai. As programme director, I was solely responsible for the curation of all programme content alongside developing and delivering a comprehensive marketing and media strategy which included film production, mailers, events, social media and partner communications. In addition I worked with the sponsorship team to identify and secure funding and develop sustainable relationships with funding partners.

Berlin

A copywriting and translation agency I co-founded in Berlin, Oranges and Lemons was aimed specifically at the arts, education and non-profit sectors. My role involved translating, editing and writing copy for a range of clients in Berlin including university departments, charities, film and theatre companies . Alongside this I identified and implemented a coherent marketing strategy and was responsible for building and managing website content

Trixiewix is a non-profit organisation working to engage and empower disadvantaged women in Berlin. As project manager I developed comprehensive plans for creative projects, identified relevant funding streams and worked with the management board to develop a sustainable overarching programme strategy.

Berlin

As a freelance creative project manager, I successfully pitched for and delivered a film-making project for vulnerable trafficked women in Berlin. Using film as a way to develop skills, build confidence and tell their own stories, the participants, who had never used cameras before, wrote, shot and edited 3 short films. As project manager I secured funding from external sources, wrote and delivered the project content and reported on the outcomes to all relevant bodies.

London

Carr-Gomm was a national supported housing charity which led the field in service user involvement. As a service user involvement officer, I was responsible for conceiving and managing projects using creative means such as filmmaking, drama and art, to enable service users to communicate their needs and opinions to the organisation and local government funding bodies. This involved researching, writing and implementing a regional strategy in line with the organisational business plan and needs of the region. I wrote and produced promotional materials and information documents for service users and staff, working with external design agencies and the internal marketing department. And I curated and produced three annual conferences for over 200 service users and staff.

Bristol

An evolving role within the BBC's Bristol office which saw rapid promotion to assistant producer, I researched and made current affairs documentaries on a range of topics. Within this I sourced and secured interesting and engaging contributors and identified original and stimulating angles through which to tell the narrative and provide strong visual content. Undertaking filming and interviews both alone and with a producer and working alongside numerous departments from graphics and music to press and marketing, this role became the foundation my career as a creative project manager.
