I am an experienced public speaker. I am able to speak about social media, internet culture, my own professional journey and my roles as a director.

I worked in digital marketing and communications, social media and content marketing for over a decade. I worked with a range of clients including Vodafone, Challenge, Vector, The Warehouse Group, Counties Energy, WSP and the NZ Drug Foundation. I also worked with digital social impact agency, For Purpose, assisting their clients with social media and digital communications strategies. Work with the FP team included award-winning campaigns for Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori (Māori Language Commission) and a rheumatic fever prevention campaign for Alliance Health Plus. I am no longer consulting.

Clients worked with included DeLaval, Prolife Foods (Mother Earth and Alison's Pantry), Challenge Fuel, Polaris, Waikato District Council, Good George, WPS Opus, Vector and the Perry Group.

I managed the social media and content marketing team, strategies and implementation at BNZ for 5 years, evolving my role and growing the team from 2 to 6 people in that time.I was accountable for all our social, online community and content marketing platforms and digital properties with overall responsibility for strategy, implementation, delivery, and risk management. I had 5 direct reports and managed an annual budget of over $1,000,000.I was responsible for developing and launching BNZ’s content and social media marketing strategies and building the social media customer care, operating, governance and staff use models. I developed bank-wide executive and staff social media training and an online employee advocacy strategy culminating in being the first company in New Zealand to put in LinkedIn’s Elevate platform. I did the strategy for, and led the development of BNZ Community, the first owned community platform in the finance sector in NZ and BNZ’s first brand content site www.begoodwithmoney.co.nz

As a Director of Arts.Biz™ Ltd, I ran workshops for, and providing consulting services to, creative practitioners with my fellow Directors for 7 years. My speciality areas included career planning and mentoring, strategic planning, social media and the web and funding and sponsorship.
